Falling leaves? Already....

Well it is the dead of summer and the big beautiful tree in my yard has already started dropping a few leaves. Crazy, Crazy....I am not ready for summer to be over!! It just got here.. It made me start to think of fall so I have started posting scents and fall products on the site. You need to try the new Cinnamon Buttered Oats scent! YUM!!!

My baby turned 2 ! You can check him out in the slide show. It seems like yesteday when I found out we were pregnant! Time flies when your having fun!

Well vacation was nice. We went to Corolla Nc. It was a long drive, the kids were great in the car. I think that had alot to do with leaving at 2 a.m. and driving in a van instead of the usual. The kids loved the beach and all of the sea creatures. Our house was huge and beautiful! We had the whole bottom floor to ourselves. We had the movie / entertainment room, the game room, the pool and the hot tub on our floor. The kids were in heaven. There were 18 people in our house. It was so nice to be with the family. The kids had a blast playing with everyone. The area was very laid back. VERY family orientated. Not much to do but go to the beach and eat supper then relax. It was a typical Atlantic ocean beach. Lots of sand crabs at this one! I can remember going to the boardwalk at nights in Ocean City as a kid. It was so exciting!! I would love to take the kids there next time for a change of pace. As for hubby and I's vacation....The white sands and turquoise sea of Mexico chants my name daily...HUGE sigh....

In the candle arena, I have been busy nonstop since I came back. Thank you to my wonderful customers new and old! I have noticed alot of customers choosing the fall scents already, and my stores have all been ordering for the fall rush. I have also managed to create a few new products that I have been posting on the site in my spare time. I am trying to cut back on the foo-foo products and concentrate on the ones that get the most requests/best sellers. You will have to swing by the site and check some of them out...muffins, cookies, gourmet pies, pumpkin melts, electrics and more holiday being added soon!

Long time no see! I have not had a chance to post in well....a Loooong time! The Scent Shot sale was a great success and has been keeping me jumping! Thank you to everyone that ordered! I hope you enjoy all of your goodies! I have made 928 scent shots so far! I have 4 more orders to finish and get out so I think we may hit the 1000 mark. In other candle news, we are getting ready to close for vacation next week. I will still be accepting website orders but they will not be processed till we return on the 22nd. So if you need to stock up your stash please order here soon before I leave so I can get it shipped or delivered.

I have a new project that I am working on and I am so excited about it! I am having so much FUN with it!! I cannot say what it is yet because I don't want to jinx myself. Hehe.... But it will be bringing alot of new products this fall and I will be opening up another website!

Well, Did you think I could finish my candle news without raving about a scent? Nope, not a chance! My latest scent addiction is the new Granny's Zucchini Bread! It is amazing! It smells exactly like the real thing! I made some candles in the scent yesterday, left for awhile and when I walked back in the smell smacked me right in the face! It made me miss my Grandma so bad! I could almost taste her zucchini bread, complete with lots of butter on top! She was the best cook! So if you are a zucchini bread lover, you are going to be in zucchini heaven with this scent!

I have added some pics from our Memorial Day! We were at Parker Dam over the weekend and took some really nice pics! It was a stunning day and the perfect temp. Sawyer walked the whole way around the dam and was so excited! We saw HUGE frogs, fish and lots of chipmunks. The other kids were all about playing in the water and climbing the rocks. It was so nice!

Ok, so I was reading over on makeupalley.com and this stuff was getting rave reviews! (Every Day Minerals / http://www.everydayminerals.com)/
I ordered the kit and some different color and formula samples. I am in love! This is the best makeup I have ever tried and I have tried alot! I have very sensitive skin that breaks out easily and this stuff has helped keep it clear and looking great! I love the finishing dust. It works great at keeping oil away. Everything is 100% Natural also! I have tried several different mineral makeups and did not like the shine it gave. This stuff lets you apply the "glow" only if and where you want it. The prices are so reasonable it is ridiculous!!

What a beautiful morning! I was up today at 5:00 on the dot due to a cranky toddler. I didn't mind though, I feel like I get more done in the day the earlier I get up. Next year I will be getting up early every day...my oldest is going to middle school! I can hardly believe it! Those teen years are coming fast. I took some pics last night of the boys playing in the yard. I will have to post some today.

In the candle business...I have a new scent that I am really liking! It is Irish Mocha Coffee and it is divine! I can really pick up the chocolate in this one. I DO love my coffee! Haha!!
I have some new products that I am excited about! I will tell you more as soon as I get some pics taken! I am working on another votive order for a lovely Canadian shop owner, some restocking orders, and my normal local and internet orders. Everyone really seems to be loving the new donut melts! Those and the scent shots of course are a best seller! I had some wonderful comments from customers who ordered from the last sale. I just love my customers! I think I have the sweetest ones out there! They just make my day when I hear from them! Its a great feeling knowing that you create something that brings enjoyment to others lives! If I get a sec today I will post some of the comments! I even have a pic of a cute pup Ziggy that belongs to one of my customers! He is darling, and he has a sidekick!

Well, I wanted to share this "mask" I found on a board I belong to. It is an asprin mask. Sounds weird but Oh my goodness! My face feels and looks great! You take 4 uncoated asprin, crush them up, add 2 drops warm water, and 1 tablespoon organic honey. Stir well and apply to face. I leave it on for a half hour and then rinse. It gently exfoliates when you rinse also! Any blemishes and redness just go away and your face feels as soft as a baby's bottom. The board instructions said to use about twice a week. Love it! I also used my sugar scrub on my entire body before I put on some sunless tanner this week. The scrub was in the Caribbean Coconut scent and it smelled awesome, and my skin felt fabulous! No wonder its a best seller!

Well, the slipcovers came...see toddler incident below....and they looked great! For about 2 days! Then the fabric started to get pills on it. Yuck! I am shipping it back and trying a different fabric. We have been putting off buying anything new for the house because we want to move soon and get everything new to match then. (If we ever find a house we like!) So I really don't want to buy new furniture until then. So hopefully this new fabric will do the job. Keeping fingers crossed....
